My thoughts
In retrospect I thought the turn bet was not preferable to a check because:
1) I may fold hands <ul type="square">[*]for 1 bet or [*]when the button/blinds holding a 7 check-raises-- folding hands that would have called the turn ---> if I hit my flush fewer players on the river is not preferable.[/list]2) I could now be drawing dead with the board pairing 3) Given the action another flush draw could be out there that: may be the nut flush or just reduces my chances of hitting a flush 4) My king outs are almost certainly no good ------------------------------------------------------ However, I don't think it's horrible as some have said because A) I still have a smidgen of equity against a good deal of hand ranges B) A full house will often not risk the turn getting checked through - doubly true since my play on the flop wreaks of a flush draw Typical hand sets (I don't have a sim. Maybe someone could run one to confirm.) The third hand set seems most likely so I do think a turn bet is -ev but not overly so. cards EV Kh 6h .176 Ks Qh .441 Qc Jc .118 9s 8s .059 Tc Th .029 Jd Td .118 4s 4c .059 Kh 6h .147 Ks Qh .059 Ac 7s .529 9s 8s .059 Tc Th .029 Jd Td .118 4s 4c .059 Kh 6h .000 Ks Qh .059 Ac 7s .588 Ah Jh .118 Tc Th .029 Jd Td .147 4s 4c .059 |

Re: K6s Am I making good choices?
Simple, but good post.
I like the flop call and cap, but with so many callers, I would definitely fear the A high flush draw, but then the pot is huge. Like others said, turn is a free card, take it. Lawrence |

Re: K6s Am I making good choices?
Do you regularly make these calls preflop? I really don't like it and see it as one of those "bad" choices, but if you must, you played okay except the turn bet which has ben stated and restated. There is a surprisingly big difference in the value of Axs and Kxs. Sometimes you mix up your play though...so just keep an eye on how much you're doing that, even in late position.
