I think you're on to something here, but I'm still amazed that my big-butted cat could catch a dead bird
Whatever it is that puts you into this mode MSS, take more of it, this is way too funny for me to be able to cope with. Is there any sort of training you could give the cats, like not feeding them at all, which would have the dual effect of making them more streamlined, and also give them more reason to catch the birds? This is WAY too funny!
I say OD the cats on catnip & put a wee bit of elderberry wine in the hummingbird feeder.... Set up the webcam and establish a betting line..... Charge us all to watch, and win back your 56K with interest!!! |

"Is there any sort of training you could give the cats..."
Well, if john stays out of ring games and plays tournies exclusively, there will be no money left for cat fud. Schedule a Hummingbird bbq shortly thereafter. Tuco. <--- who got barley even for pokerstars tournies in the wsop |

Training? I don't know about english cats, but american cats know how to catch birds when they are born. Shaggy is as stream-lined as an oil tanker. Ginger, the little guy is young and dumb. Shadow is black as pitch and hides in the shadows for hours for a chance at a bird. Oh, and he's pretty quick too. Now, Ginger could take some lessons from Shadow to improve his chances, but the only time Shadow wants him outside with him is when a hawk is around. MS Sunshine |

Moneymaker has been widely reported as saying he 'bluffed a lot'. Newbies now think this is how it is done....the PP NLHE games this weekend are unbelievably soft. Strategy change I made was to bluff rarely, then into tiny pots only. The big pots are with those who call with 2 outers after you hit the flop...

"As for the legal thing, I'm optimistic that once the word gets out, especially after the ESPN broadcast, that online poker will gain some legitimacy in the public eye and that it will put pressure on Congress to back off and maybe, just maybe even legalize it."
Legalize it? What a novel thought! But I'm thinking there is enough publicity and documentation to show people are playing online poker and winning (and losing!) money. If they wanted to crack down now is the time. The feds have the ammo to come after Moneymaker if they want to. Not hard to prove he won his seat via "illegal" online gambling. Not hard to prove Pokerstars paid his entry fee because he gambled (and won) there. But if nothing is done which is what I suspect? Well then it becomes legitmate by exclusion. Because the highest profile online gambler around (Moneymaker not onlinechamp!) just got away with on the front pages and nothing was done. |
