No love for Hakeem yet... I think he's a great alternative to both Shaq and Wilt, in that he was dominant statistically, and he conquered all of his couterparts (including a young Shaq himself). Looking to the future, Duncan will make this list, if he's not there already. None of the other current superstars stand a ghost of a chance. If Kobe Bryant puts together another dynasty and cleans up his flaws, he has a chance to become the number 2 shooting guard of all time, IMO. Of the younger players, I think Lebron has a great chance to crash this list at whatever position he chooses to stick to. We will have to wait and see about Wade and Amare. [/ QUOTE ] my grandparents used to live in texas and i'd visit them during winter breaks and such and i remember watching a lot of Rockets games and Hakeem was one of my favorite players. He owned all the centers in the league at the time, including David Robinson, Patrick Ewing, and a younger Shaq. Hakeem was very talented, big, strong, and agilie and every bit as good if not better than Shaq was when he matured to the beast he was during the Lakers run.
