thanks for your replies im going to act on most of them
i already ordered a vertical mouse but its a different one. so far i like the look of yours a fair bit more =P
http://www.fentek-ind.com/ergmouse.htm#Vertical

only advice ican't follow is the trackball mouse (i hate those with a passion) and less wacking off (f-that!)

seems that mouseless poker thing is flat awsome, but my 8tables overlap on my monitor (my monitor is old) and i play NL, not sure if i'll beable to raise a chosen amt or just the fixed min raise, so i'll look into it.

thanks again,

galahad

Would you recommend getting a powerball?

I use the marble trackball (or Kensington monster trackball) to not have to move my wrists. I've been using a PC at least 3hrs a day for about 20yrs now. Went to a trackball about 10yrs ago at the starting signs of RSI. My trackball died, used a regular mouse for about 2 months and RSI pain started again. Back to the marble mouse.

Someone here recently posted about using Dragon Speak. I might goto limit just to use that.

Switch to your left hand. It will feel funny at first, but you will get used to it in a week or so.

didn't have time to read the responses. At work (I don't have one at home yet) I have a mouse pad with a gel cushion to rest your wrist on and it keeps your wrist flat. Just an idea. I need to get one for my home.

Just this morning my wrist hurt.

I did something, ( although there is a lot of chance that it is a placebo), I just put cold water on it for like 20 sec.

Removed the pain

in researching the subject i've seen arguments AGAINST wrist rests because it promotes using your wrist to make lateral movement with the mouse instead of using your whole arm (shoulder vs wrist).
