Man this question gets asked alot and I will answer it all the time, since I love a good steak and have been to most of those restaurants mentioned in this thread.

If you want good steak, Circus Circus. Very good. If you want a famous hotel that has a steakhouse there are lots of those and they are mentioned here. But let me elaborate by way of an example. Was in town in Feb. with a buddy and we had dinner three nights in a row at Prime with zillionaire bank owner/wine collector buddy. Had the New York, the Rib Eye and Filet. All were good, no doubt. But take away the boot licking service for millionaires and the view of the fountains and it is not better than Circus Circus. Period. Oh, and you pay for that view and that service, through inflated steak prices.
