Re: Dealer wants a bigger tip
This is the same structure at my local casino.
Can anyone beat a $5 rake with $1 for bad beat and tip? I wouldn't tip anyone either if I was actually trying to make money and not just playing for fun. |

Re: Dealer wants a bigger tip
Trying to beat 3-6 for a LIVING? If your good enough to beat 3-6 for a living considering the rake, bad beat, and tip, step it up to 10-20 or 20-40. The rake is noticable there also but not NEAR as much. In 3-6 you know going in your loosing a full BB every pot your involved in.

Re: Dealer wants a bigger tip
The dealer doesn't need to ask the other players to rabbit the next card. This is done as a courtesy when asked, but isn't necessary. If the player said I'll give you $2 for the rabbit, he should cough up the $2. I think the dealer was wrong for asking for it but that would be the last favor he got from me for sure. Ask again? nope. Questionable call? ooops. Cards not protected? ohh well. The moral of this story is don't tease the dealer. It sure is nice to have them in your corner.

Re: Dealer wants a bigger tip
The only "rule" on a rabbit card is is can't be done in tourneys, EVER. There's no harm in showing a rabbit card once in a while in a live game. It shouldn't matter what juristition your in.

Can anyone beat a $5 rake with $1 for bad beat and tip? [/ QUOTE ] Out in the west burbs of Chicago at Hollywood casino it costs $5 to get in the casino, they take a %10 rake to $6(no bad beat), they use too charge $1 for water, and it's $2 for parking. Oh and there's no call ahead seating so it's usually at least an hour and a half wait. It's a shame because it's has the softest 10-20 and 20-40 games I've ever played in. P.S.See my other post for my thoughts on the dealer |
