I don't like it.. I love it !! Not sure if you can hear that but it's me.. clapping!

I had a live tourney hand where I was gonna raise with a straight draw, fumbled some chips( by accident) and then checked. Some old guy who was in the hand goes " He's already got the straight", thinking i was slowplaying the made str8. So when i missed on the turn i made a decent bet and took it down. I think I would have got called had he not said that.

Sklansky thinks it's ok to angle shoot so do it alot. You'll save and make money and we all know that making money is +EV.

This play essentially says "I'm a moron," because I knew what string bets were and how they were not allowed very quickly. I could never get away with this in any of the games I play at because I usually know half the people there or they know my reputation as a fairly good player.

I suppose that it would be nice to have others think you are a moron at a poker table. I guess I would rather win because people think I'm good...
