Thats mainly the problem. I have no problem calling such raises except when I feel like I am already behind and/or drawing dead. Furthermore there is a coordinated flop (str8) and 3 hearts. bleh.

BB probably has at least two pair.

This is a crucial point of the hand. I don't think so because OP said:

The guy betting into me on the turn is too aggressive postflop.

All BB has done is checkcalled the flop and donk-bet the turn into a PFR who looks to have missed the board. Then he just called the 3-bet, something he might not have done with a made flush. I think BB has one pair or a flush draw extremely often.

The question is what does MP have? The flush is certainly the obvious choice but his play is consistent with a set, possibly baby connectors that flopped two pair, and A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] with any paired kicker. So it's possible you have the best hand or you may have some outs.

My expectation is that when you are good the river will probably check through. The primary point behind 3-betting A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]+pair is to make a neutral value raise while buying a free showdown for the pair. Actually one could also make the same play with K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]+pair. Now the idea is to get the made hand to fold and get heads up with unimproved A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].

The pot is huge. You are getting 15-1 odds to make this play work. Maybe that's enough. Obviously folding cannot be bad either. It really depends on who MP is and we don't have a read.
