You know what I think the key to marginal hands/situations like these is: READS!!!

Seriously - w/o reads I don't think any course of action can really be all that much better or worse than the other. If you have even a slight read on a player (like 10-20 hands) it can give you some idea of what to expect and then you could play accordingly.
