Is this site a secret?

This whole "let's keep twoplustwo a secret" always seemed a bit silly to me personally. I don't talk about it in chat boxes because others seemed upset and I like the all county thing, I think its funny.

I don't think this site magically turns people into Ray Zee; it takes an incredible amount of time and effort to become an excellent poker player.

Just my two cents and I know it is the minority opinion.

Some of the people that you are playing against are just gambling and having a good time. It is a mistake to type anything in the chat box that might make them pay more attention to the game or change tables.

That is why you will often read a post about "Don't tap the aquarium". It is a mistake to scare the fish away, you want to keep them happy and fishy.

The basic theory is that doing anything at the table that might actually help a bad player become a better one is -EV for everyone of us. Table coaching, recommending books, berating players etc... are very much discouraged too.

I always tell people at my tables to come here and read posts from Mike L. they end up spewing chips at me for the next hour before going broke [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

This is how I felt about it, I read the Q & A's, but it doesn't mean I'm going to run home and put what I read into use, half the time I don't agree with the advice given. I know my game, it's not enough to make a living, nor would I want to play poker for a living, but my BR is always rising, so I must be doing something right. I would love to know how many times I sat at a table and tore a 2er a new ass, I know it's happend, the odds are there considering I play 20K to 30K hands a month.
