River: This is not a bet trying to bluff, but rather a bet because you probably have the best hand. He will never fold an ace here and may just call. Checking here is a mistake as he will check behind with most hands that you beat (any pocket pair, any queen, any 9, etc) and charge you to see the showdown when you are behind.
