Your equity is bigger on the turn and I would rather go to war on a street where I can find a fold. Once you build a pot on the flop you almost commit yourself to the river.

Why not raise the flop? 4 way capped action preflop. The pot is already big enough. I like taking control on the flop. Remember the button three bet you preflop. He may 3 bet the flop and push out those draws or at least make them pay to get there.
