I think i saw a hand like this the other day and the summary was 3 bet on the flop you need more than a pair to play. i fold the turn aggression as i have nothing but the pair.

it actually says you need better than pair if the flop is capped.

That's not what this post is saying at all. Nobody advocated folding the turn because of some simplistic rule like 'don't continue unless you have better than a pair'. It was between checking and betting the turn. Either way, you are going to showdown.
