Re: Party 2/4 vs 5/10 vs 15/30
[ QUOTE ]
Party 5/10 & 10/20 horror stories are really a myth, like the Yeti or it's North American cousin, the Sasquatch. The games are not bad. They are comparatively less good. [/ QUOTE ] They're less good than the smaller games or less good than the 15/30? I find it hard to believe that the 5/10 game would really be tougher than the 15/30 (although I would certainly believe that the 5/10 could be tighter preflop). |

They're less good than the smaller games or less good than the 15/30? [/ QUOTE ] I think he means they are less good than the 6 max games at the same limit. [ QUOTE ] I find it hard to believe that the 5/10 game would really be tougher than the 15/30 (although I would certainly believe that the 5/10 could be tighter preflop). [/ QUOTE ] You're right. 5/10 full is easier than 15/30. The rake at 5/10 is much worse (relative to the limit) however, which makes the game tougher to beat than it should be. |

Re: Party 2/4 vs 5/10 vs 15/30
I moved up to 10/20 after doing well at 5/10 nad found it alot more aggresive. Had a few bad days and back to 5/10. Still good money to be made at Full 5/10

[/ QUOTE ] I think that the "Party 5/10 full games are terrible" dogma comes from robotic multitablers who don't want to put any time or effort into table selection. If you're willing to work a little bit, you can find good games there. |
