i think he is too aggressive preflop, especially from the CO and button. he doesn't protect his hands well enough after the flop. in general, he gets too attached to the pots he has invested in, and therefore will pay off big when you hit a monster. i'll call bets on the flop against him that, on the surface, looks like a -EV call because i know my implied odds are greater against him than most others(i play N/L).

Based on the chat I would assume that he isn't an expert player.
As for how he'll play it would depend on whether he becomes weak-tight or if he turns into a LAG when tilting. In both cases I would expect him to play more hands preflop. I don't know if LAG is more common than passive. Anyone? |
