No read...
Say you sit down at an online table and a player whom you've never seen before is complaining vociferously about suckouts and bad beats. You watch him for an orbit and determine that he probably isn't tilting completely, but beyond that, you have no particular read.
Given no other information, how are you going to assume that this player plays? |

Re: No read...
Bad enough to play for almost any stakes. Not enough raising. Too passive. Doesn't get the game all the way.

Re: No read...
A strong when weak, weak when strong player I would think. Understands the game, but several levels less than what he perceives he does.

You watch him for an orbit and determine that he probably isn't tilting completely, but beyond that, you have no particular read. Given no other information, how are you going to assume that this player plays? [/ QUOTE ] Pretty straightforward and very ABC for the most part. Had a cat berate me pretty hard last night but I did suckout, he just paid for my suckout dearly. He had KK in the CO and openraised, I called in the BB with ATo. Flop KQ4 ((I also have a backdoor flush draw), I check he bets, I checkraise, he three bets I graon and call. Turn Jack, I check, he bets, I checkraise, he three bets, I cap, he calls. River Brick , I bet he calls. KK whoops. Sent him on major monkey tilt and he was saying "WOW, WOW< and complaining about how he always got sucked out on, he dropped 300 in 10 minutes. Other table I got berated for a super simple play, I called a raise and a cold call in the BB with Kd 5d. Flop was Ad Jd 5c. I check, PFR bets, button calls, i call. Turn 6c I check, PFR bets, button calls, I call. River 2d. I check, PFR bets, button calls, I raise, both call. He called me a blankety blank chaser. Yeah, next time I'll just fold the nut flush draw with bottom pair for you you putz. Have a nice day. |
