Re: Extra long think and then call with AA preflop
Last night I was in a Stars SNG playing heads up when I got the slow roll of my lifetime. I go all in on the river with J7 on a board of J8252. My opponent takes a long time to think, calls time, and then lets the timer run from 60 seconds to almost nothing before he calls. At this point, I think I obviously have the best hand. Next thing I know he shows 22 for the rivered quads, wins the SNG, and leaves without a word. Sickening.

Re: Extra long think and then call with AA preflop
I called a raise with 99 and the flop came 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] . So I went all-in. The guy who raised pre-flop took aaaall his time before calling with A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] . I hit a full house on the river. Re: Extra long think and then call with AA preflop
I had 66 HU (SB vs. BB) on a A64Ax board once. The guy took long and said, "I dunno if he's bluffing"... ya, I got shown AA.
Didn't get angry at all because I knew I would have gotten all my chips in anyway. |

Re: Extra long think and then call with AA preflop
you were probably playing against hellmuth and he was thinking he doesn't need to get his money in as a 4 to 1 favourite.
