let's say a live 20-40 game is so juicy that it's worth 6bb/100. I think you get around 30 hands/hr. actually, at Harrah's NO you're probably lucky to get 20--but call it 30. so that's about 2bb/hr. that's in keeping with estimates I've heard for live expert players. now suppose you 6-table 3-6 for 3bb/100. if you get 350 hands/hr that's 10.5 or $63/hr. not quite as good, but party 3-6 is available 24 hrs/day. the juicy 20-40 game isn't always going, and has some additional costs associated with playing live.
