You've never been in a situation where you have top two pair, bet big and get raised by a possible trips behind you?
Happens to me all the time... |

I don't have any situations where I make a crappy raise against limpers, and then make a crappy checkraise on the flop. And if I ever did anything similar (except where my raises were actually normal amounts) I sure as hell wouldn't have just TPTK with deep stacks.

Sure his play has been bad. Still he's now ended up on the turn in a situation which is also often reached even with perfect play by the player with TPTK on the Flop - the guy with the set who waits to raise on the Turn. Everybody seems to think they should go broke here - I'm saying that with good analysis you may well be able to avoid it.

I bet the flop when it's checked to me, so I could concievably fold after the set raises me, or after the set does something retarded like miniraise and I miniraise back and the set makes it 350 to go. I go broke if I make it to the turn. And it would miraculous if I didn't make it to the turn.

Why waste time analyzing situations that one shouldn't even be in? [/ QUOTE ] because 400 and up your tough decisions will be EDIT: 'againxt' more donkeys than pros. |

Then I'd rather analyze it from the perspective of the guy who flopped a set. From that point of view I'd say "wow, this guy is I think sort of trying to tell me that he flopped a set of queens, but his betting is so retarded that I probably shouldn't give him credit for it, because anyone who is bad enough to play QQ that way is probably bad enough to screw up a ton of other hands in the same manner."
