If you're going to do these, do them in pounds. I profited over 280 pounds (over $540) from this group. And autoplay 1 pound (or dollar) per hand. No benefit from increasing it. You don't have to sit there and play, so you might was well reduce your variance.

Oh no, they raised the WR by ~20% and I have to play AC Blackjack instead of Vegas Strip and lose an extra $1.50 per $10,000 wagered. Gasp!

If I'd have had my autoplay set for the default 2 I'd have busted out my bonus at Cooks too. As it was, I ended with 109 which gave me 209 to start in my deposit account. Within 450 hands, I was down to 150 and starting to get nervous. I'd already LOST 31 at CON (-231 before bonus), and wasn't liking casino whoring too much.

Now I'm about 5000 hands in and am at a much more comfortable 230.

And BTW, if it's +EV and you have a choice between USD and GBP, take GBP.

Thanks Homer. Perhaps you could tell me: How much better is Atlantic City blackjack than downtown Vegas blackjack?

And one other thing. I'm looking for the e-mail to be positive, but I'm sure it said I had to wager 35x (this is at Cooks before the change, which I'm playing now) on the bonus amount, and then when I've accomplished that I transfer the whole amount to the real account and then play 35x times the real money deposit, which in my case was £100. In other words you wager £200 x 35 or £7000 in the bonus account and then even though you must transfer it all over you only have to play 35x £100 in the real account. I'm 95% certain of this but of course I could be wrong. Does anyone know definitively?

Thanks

Homer, I understand your point, but I think it's a $15 difference (.36% HA vs .5% HA?).

According to the Casino Kingdom Terms and Conditions this is wrong. You DO need to rewager the transfered amount:

[ QUOTE ]
Deposit Account:
You must wager any deposits made which enabled you to claim a bonus or promotion and (for non-VIP players only) any transfers from your Bonus Account to your Deposit Account a minimum of 42 times on most forms of Video Poker or Blackjack. (Please note that some forms of Poker and Blackjack will not contribute to the meeting of wagering requirements)

I'm waiting for cashouts at Cooks and Classic, trying to decide if I should do Kingdom before Thursday. I'm waiting on almost $1500 in cashouts, so I'm scared of F'ing that up (by being labelled an abuser). I probably I shouldn't be scared.

Surprise, surprise, Homer was right and I was wrong. The AC rules HA isn't .5%, it's more like .37%. Disregard my first comment.

Wizard of Odds has Atlantic City's HA listed as 0.365% as compared to Vegas Strip's HA of 0.3606%:
http://www.wizardofodds.com/software/microgaming.html

With these new numbers, here are the bonuses for Vegas Strip and 35WR:

Captain Cooks: deposit $100 for $216 bonus.
Playthrough = ($100 + $216 + $216) * 35WR = $18,620
$216 - 0.3606% HA * $18,620 = <font color="blue">net +$148.85</font>

Casino Kingdom: deposit $60 for $136 bonus.
Playthrough = ($60 + $136 + $136) * 35WR = $11,620
$136 - 0.3606% HA * $11,620 = <font color="blue">net +$94.09</font>

Casino Classic: deposit $150 for $166 bonus.
Playthrough = ($150 + $166 + $166) * 35WR = $16,870
$166 - 0.3606% HA * $16,840 = <font color="blue">net +$105.16</font>

Here are the numbers for Atlantic City and 42WR:

Captain Cooks: deposit $100 for $216 bonus.
Playthrough = ($100 + $216 + $216) * 42WR = $22,344
$216 - 0.365% HA * $22,344 = <font color="blue">net +$134.44</font>

Casino Kingdom: deposit $60 for $136 bonus.
Playthrough = ($60 + $136 + $136) * 42WR = $13,944
$136 - 0.365% HA * $13,944 = <font color="blue">net +$85.10</font>

Casino Classic: deposit $150 for $166 bonus.
Playthrough = ($150 + $166 + $166) * 42WR = $20,244
$166 - 0.365% HA * $20,244 = <font color="blue">net +$92.10</font>

Basically the new WR reduces the bonuses by about 7-12%. Multiply the USD * 1.96 to get a rough approximation as to how much the bonus is worth if you signed up in GBP.
