Just figured it was time for a little 'The Big Lebowski' in the middle of this aces mess.

The hand was played horribly.

Snaps to Diablo for finding alot of good in a very bad post.

I must admit I get a little erect when I peek in hole to find AA. This is shocking tell if you play standing up or in the nude.

I could possibly be persuaded to agree that he doesn't deserve the redicule heaped on him if he hadn't justified his fold based on the river card.

Oh, and for the record most (if not all) of my redicule was reserved for a respondent not the OP. Its unfortunate when a poster makes a badly misguided post, but it really bugs the hell out of me when the advice he receives supports his misconceptions.

A few comments...

Limping with AA in EP in the early stages of a tournament is acceptable strategy, and mucking them on the flop is not per se stupidity. The OP's pride in the eventual outcome may have marred his analysis, but that is no excuse for the obnoxious and insulting comments from the "sages" whose advice is worth exacly the sum they receive for dispensing it.

Perhaps an previous poster - seriously - had it right when he said that perhaps the line of thinking wasn't totally off-base, but it was just poorly written.

It's much easier for me to listen to an argument from someone who is well-spoken or can clearly communicate their thoughts in writing. And since this person who posted the hand obviously couldn't, maybe that's why the sarcasm poured down from above.

Honestly, that might have had a lot to do with it. That said, I'm still not a fan of how the hand was played.

Default Trying to End This!!!!

If I don't get some LOL, i'll be disappointed, but here is my attempt at putting a stop to all this.

This whole thread should have been one post with NO RESPONSE. The options are:

Option 1) "Hey, if you ever make a bad lay down with AA on the third hand, just rally, play your best and win it anyway. I misplayed a hand so keep your chip up!".

Option 2) "One time, I stabbed myself in the face 36 times with an awl until I thought there was a 20% chance to live, and it turned out OK, so buck up little kangaroo!"

This is now me, begging for some props.
