Re: What\'s an average downswing if the player is not making any mistakes?
Ive had a great run within 3 hours, was up +20BB, but Im falling up and down from 15-20 now. The table is good and I'd like to finish up this bonus within the next 30 mins.

Re: What\'s an average downswing if the player is not making any mistak
Yup, this is really a good thing to remember.
Last year when I started playing poker, I lost 50BB in a few days, then lost 50BB in one session the next day. It was right around there that I threw my Lee Jone's book out the window and picked up SSH. Now, I don't even think about it in sessions. Its all one big session to me. All I really care about is if I'm up at the end of the week or month. I usually multitable and cover up the $$ I have at the table with a Gametime box, so I can concentrate on making the right plays, not on the short-term results. -C. |

In fact, if I'm down because I'm getting suck out on over and over it only encourages me to stay since that's a good indication they are loose calling stations.

I cover the $$ up too. It helps you concentrate on the play.
