Why are antes better than no antes? I would think no antes would be better....

I've actually played a few MTTs before for kicks and placed a few times. Also, when i started playing poker online I started with SnGs so I'm quite familiar with that sort of structure.

I was just curious what the best "bang for buck" MTTs were. Also, I was looking for some MTTs that started you with big stacks and the blinds don't increase very quickly (more like a big live tourney I suppose?) Maybe I should stick with the "xx guaranteed" tourneys PP/Empire hold daily/weekly/monthly?

Stars and Ultimate bet start you out with 1500 chips, compared to PP's 1000

I can really understand this... sometimes I play SNGs at Stars, and it's the only time I ever play "real poker" rather than hunting fish at Party. At this point I wouldn't want to play them full time, but I can see your point.

I think I heard around here that the blinds go up faster though...
