If your opponent is constantly making moves like this, why don't you just wait for a really good hand JJ - AA (beware JJ), and set a nice little trap for him.

I don't think it makes sense to get overzealous with your 99 here, especially when there's already one person calling the reraise.

That was my thinking. I was getting 2 to 1 on a call and I expected to be against 2 overcards and an underpair. not sure what my winning % is against AK and 88 but anyone want to calculate that for me I would be greatful.

I think that there is a pretty good chance that both people have 2 overs or an underpair. I don't have pokerstove, but if tbach wants to do another one, check 99's equity against AK-AT, AA-22 for pusher and AK-AT,JJ-22 for caller (faster call with AA-QQ).

Looks like a good call to me. But I'm a gambler. Those people who say "find a better place" don't make any sense to me, though. This guy is most likely busting out soon. Take it while the taking is hot. If you lose you can always rebuy.

The saying "Find a better place" is nonsense. If it is +EV do it, if it is -EV don't.

Agree 100%. Only time I would buy that argument is when someone says "this move is +EV right now, but not making it is more +EV because you can preserve your >max buy-in stack so you should 'wait for a better time' where you can get your big stack in which a big advantage over a big-stacked fish."
