You're playing too tight and too aggressive.

You need to play more hands and raise more of those hands that you do play.

You need to steal more.

You need to defend more.

You need to see more showdowns.

You need to vary your tempo more postflop.

These things are costing you money.

Trust me.

I think his WTSD is fine withing 2-3% points upward. Having just gone through this same examination read this.

Yes, I am usually around 36%, it is only 2-3% but it will make a huge difference in his winrate. Anyways, Nate agrees with me, he needs to see more showdowns and overall just be less of a nit.

Another weaktightie from ring.

VPIP 25% at 1/2 PFR 13+
blind steals 25%+
defend your blinds more

you are too agro on the flop and turn 2.5-3 is IMO good aggression

see more showdowns

Yup. I think a fair amount of the additional flops and raises comes from 3-betting more PF and stealing blinds. For example, in a full ring, you might fold A9s on the button to an UTG raise, whereas it is a 3 bet in most 1/2 games. IMO.

Also at 1/2 overlimping with low Axs, some Kxs, low pockets and suited connectors can be +EV depending on table and how well you play post flop. At very passive tables you can even open limp UTG or MP with Axs (too good to fold, no real value in raising out of position)

I also agree with the earlier poster who posited that your overly aggro flop numbers are probably a result of not enough calling on the flop. Whether this is folding too much or -EV raises tough to say, but I'd suggest re-reading the 'Waiting til the Turn to Raise' section of SSHE.

Didn't mean to leave you out! You've been just as helpful as anybody Didn't know you could figure out so much from a few numbers. Looks like it's time I start posting a few more hands.
