your the second person who said I should fold this preflop

are you seriously folding A9o to a CO open raise in the BB? For me its an easy defend, am I missing something?

no way you are folding this on any street (and it's not even close). If you fold second 2 pair to turn 3-bets and A9 to cutoff steals you should not be playing.

I'm with you. folding there assuming you play well postflop would be giving up a good amount of value

he could easily have a worse 2 pair. 2 pair is also a lot more mathematically probable than a set. 9 combinations vs 3 combinations each. he could havbe A7, Q9, even Q7 or 97, or AK for TPTK

i dont think he'd 3 bet AK considering the action, and most of the 2 pairs out there (other then A7) seem slightly remote because he raised preflop.

but i still think your hand is too good to laydown.
