Why did you raise the flop? From what you said, he's never folding reasonable hands like AQ/QQ/JJ here and he'll probably just bet them for you on every street.

At the time I wasn't willing to believe I was beat just because a king was on the board, but at the same time I wanted to maximize the pot if I was ahead.

In hindsight, if I was beat and he held AA-JJ or AK then calling down would minimize my loss. Also, I think pot odds would dictate I fold on the flop, but in the heat of battle I make my decisions not necessarily based on the math.

I certainly hope you reported him to alerts@partypoker.com for that suspicious disconnect. Party is pretty good about removing disconnect protection from cheaters.
