Any more ideas? I can't think of any other combinations, except for maybe DayGlo yellow with blue or imperial blue edge spots for $1000 chips, but they don't use DayGlo colors for the body of chips, just the edge spots.

I completely agree with both suggestions, both having solid color chips to send out for samples and even better having a chip preview function where you can combine colors to see what the chip will look like. That would really be helpful.

Unfortunately, not available.

Here are some of my favorite combinations that Ive seen. Some of these look better with thinner edge spots or different numbers of edge spots, but maybe youll like one or two.

BodyColor/Edge Spot Colors

White/ Red
Red/ Yellow, NeonGreen, DkGreen, Blue
Green/ Yellow, Pink, Red, DkRed(with a dkgreen), Orange
Black/ NeonGreen, Pink, Orange, White, Lavender
Grey/ DkRed, Blue, Purple
Brown/ Yellow, Orange
lt.Blue/ Yellow, White, Red
Dk Blue/ Orange, Red
Yellow/ Red, Black,Pink
Pink/ Black

Just some I thought would look good. For center graphics I like animals. They generally look good and are simple. Buffalos, Bears, Crawfish, Roosters, Pigs, Etc.

Im suprised someon hasnt designed brown trout chips for 2+2

Nice chips. Good idea, also... but I'm wondering why they can't use the DayGlo colors for the body of the chips. Has anyone asked?

Has anyone asked them? My e-mail has been down lately, so I haven't contacted them, but definitely have to go with a DayGlo yellow over a darker, mustard yellow... like comparing the Vineyard Casino's $5 to the James Bond $1000 chip.

I bought a set of the 13 gram chips to use while I wait for my custom chips. I thought the black/pink would look goofy but it looks great in person.

My pokerchips.com order arrived and I thought I'd post the pics! Thank you to everyone who had some input.

Ordered: October 25th
Received: February 7th

200 white/blue
200 red/arc yellow
200 green/yellow
200 black/pink
100 purple/grey
100 pink/purple

$0.50 ea. with case came to $600 total.

When the chips arrived, they were chaulky and a little dusty from the "factory" and the colors were dull. Over the course of two days for a few hours total, I rinsed them gently in soapy warm water for a few seconds and then dried each one.

Then I placed them in the case and rubbed the edges up and down with a very small amount of clear, 100% purified lynseed oil. INSTANTLY, the colors were brought out and brightened. The lynseed oil dried quickly, non-sticky, and clear, with no slippy feel. The natural oils in players hands would have done the same thing, but I fastforwarded the process by six months.

Other posters have mentioned problems and delays with PC.com, but I only experienced very positive customer service and am very happy with them. I plan to beef up my set with another 500.

Opps, sorry I forgot to mention that - no. No art work or inlay, hence the price of .50 cents.
