Default My colors and edge spots - what do you think?

Long time reader and first time poster. Like many of you, I had a horrible experience with Dan at thechipstore.com. He's a nice guy, but Dan & Co. just can't follow through. In working with him, months have gone by that I could have had my pokerchips.com chips by now. Oh well.

Very excited about my order with pokerchips.com.

1,000 chips, horse head mold, $0.50 each. Just color w/edge spots. No hotstamp or design. Total cost: $600 includes case and shipping. Now comes the long wait.

White/Blue
Red/Arc Yellow
Green/Yellow
Black/Pink
Purple/Grey
Pink/Purple

My only concern is the Black/Pink. I'm over-agonizing that it won't look good, but will probably be happy when I see them. I have a while to let them know if I change my mind.

Months ago, I played at a homegame (just once) that used these horse head chips from pokerchips.com - they're awesome. I CAN'T WAIT to get my order.

Thanks for your input!

I know its not exactly the same, but maybe this can help. I ordered some labels for my cheap 11.5 ebay chips. I got reservior dogs themed labels. my favorite guy is Mr Pink so i was putting him on the blacks for sure. once i got them put on the pink matched really well with the black. they are my favorite combo of the 5. i say go for it. a nice match

I thought you couldn't get the horse head on the .50 chip. I thought the roman and circle-sqaure were the only choices.

From pokerchips.com
Clay Chips with edge spot. Minimum total order 300 chips. Mold designs available: Roman and Circle Square only. Price 50 cents each

Yes, I was confused too about that. I spoke to them on the phone and the confirmed - horsehead, 50 cents if you go just color and edge spot. And, at the game I mentioned, it confirmed that it's true. You can get horsehead with just color.

Good to know. I think the black/pink combo will look good.

I have the patience of a 4 year old so the 4 month wait would kill me.

Originally I was black with red & gold-orange spots but I had to switch to pink & gold-orange spots b/c of the design... probably be 4-6 weeks before I get the chips. I'll post pics so if you go the HPC chipco route you might get an idea of the blk/pink combo... possibly in time

I have an order from pokerchips.com for the roman mold with edge spots. I just called and asked if they offer the horsehead with just edge spots and the said no! My order is supposed to go to production next week I can't wait to see that charge on my credit card. My colors are:

White\Arc Yellow
Black\Dayglo Green
Green\Dayglo Pink
Purple\Dayglo Yellow
Yellow\Dayglo Orange
