Re: Why were the exit polls so drastically wrong?
It is no surprrise that final polls are more accurate, as the pollsters scramble to cover their asses and work to make their numbers fit with what by then is obvious reality.

Re: Why were the exit polls so drastically wrong?
[ QUOTE ]
Actually, the final exit polls were not that off; they corresponded pretty well with the actual results. [/ QUOTE ] The third batch that came out when the polls closed were very accurate. Apparently, there was a communications glitch that prevented them from being distributed, so everyone was stuck with the mid-afternoon release. |

Re: Why were the exit polls so drastically wrong?
Actually, it was a massive conspiracy on the part of me and about 10 million of my stategically placed friends throughout the country that lied to the exit pollers in order to mess with the minds of the people that wanted Bush out. We wanted to encourage them to reach new heights in coming up with conspiracy theories, so we made sure to throw off those exit polls to add fuel to the fire.
Judging from Zim's post, we've succeeded. Mission Accomplished |
