I think vs an unknown, calling preflop is better, and then adjusting once you establish a read. I don't think the flop play is bad.

All of your input is extremely valued. In retrospect, as most of you said, a smooth call pf is probably the correct play. If I had and that flop hits, he would have given me some action.

I agree completely, but who says he's playing against decent players? Live 2/5 games tend to be full of bad loose players. I'm not saying you should reraise all the time with AKs, I just think it's a good play some of the time because of the fold equity you get both preflop and on the flop.

I agree completely, but who says he's playing against decent players? Live 2/5 games tend to be full of bad loose players. I'm not saying you should reraise all the time with AKs, I just think it's a good play some of the time because of the fold equity you get both preflop and on the flop.
