sounds like the game is pretty soft if 3 players are calling an 8bb raise.. so saving your money for a later isn't a bad move. however, it also sounds like it's unlikely someone has anything but an overpair- again, the decision can really only be correctly made with much more info on your opponents.

also, while every decision in poker could be broken down into mathematics and EV (in this case, taking into account the chance of you having the best hand, the chance it holds up, the chance you're behind, your outs, pot size, etc.), the key to this decision is clearly your read on your opponents.
