Compatible with outlook??

Why exactly is it so good?? Just the super-duper amount of storage space??

Forgive my ignorance...I know very little of such things. Up until a few months ago I had never even heard of POP-3.

I don't think it is technically compatible with outlook, but there are programs out there you can use to use it as if it was pop3.

It's got the storage space as one big advantage, but it also has excellent search capabilites (d'uh it is from google...the one thing that got me through college sucessfully) and saves emails as "conversations" rather than individual messages.

It's not spectacular and you're not exactly missing anything major by not having it, but I like it.

EDIT: Microbob, if you want an invite to check it out, PM me your current email address, I've got one invite left.

I can't keep track of who has and hasn't got one.

If you want one, send an email to jstout@gmail.com with a subject of "Gmail invites". Also, please send your first and last name as well as the email address you want the invite sent to. Personally, I don't care what your name is but google asks for it when you invite somone.

I have four and will trade them for sexual favours.

PM me to arrange the details.

EDIT: Just realised which forum this is. I was not being serious about the sexual favours.
