180 ppl. $45 +$15 buy-in.
Pretty soft as you said SPR. Played tight early on and won a coin flip with my 99s to knock someone...

Push with 44?

UB $20+2 6-seat multi. 140 began. Down to 21. 12 pay.

I'm in 17th place with about 6500.

Blinds 200/400 + 25 antes.

New guy sits down with about 13000 and minriases after one fold.

Re: Call this with AK early?

no

i dont think calling with is normally a good plan - especially early in a tournament

I'd want AA or KK.

Re: Two tough spots

Push in both cases.

Hand one: you're fist to act which is what you want with your stack size. You're gonna push with almost anything at this point so be thankful you have an ace.

Re: How badly did I misplay this set?

I think folding this pre-flop is weak tight. First of all, the odds you are getting (200 into 450) are better than 2-1. Good enough to see a flop I think. (If you're smelling weakness you could...

RESULTS

I folded. The SB called. The guy to my right had QT for a pair of queens and took the pot.

Oh well.

Rockets against a River Raise - what to do?

Help me out guys! Foxwoods, 2/4. Just sat down so no reads (maybe 3rd hand). Dealt Rockets, 2nd to act.

One caller, I raise. As usual, about 5 people call and see the flop.

966 (two clubs)...

Final 3 - KQo push ok ?

Final 3 of $20 buy in on UB. Im in 3rd with 26K after posting 3K BB. UTG has 90K. SB has 60K.

SB seems like a very strong player. Capable of making a move but over all very solid.

On a...

Re: JJ - turn check 3 way pot

Good questions Krishan. I missed the OESD on the turn. You probably can't fold to a c/r as you're getting odds to call. No one with a K is leaving the hand either. I'm changing my opinion to good...

Re: JJ - turn check 3 way pot

I don't like the turn check at all. Why are you giving 2 players a free card? You must bet the flop. I think you should bet the turn and fold to raise. Check down the river if you don't get raised...

Re: Q7o

i bet this out every time. If they fold - great. If they call - great. Win/win in the long run. I suppose you could try a check raise and hope UTG bets to fatten the pot. But on the whole I bet...

Re: preflop situation. what do you cap with here?

1.a: I'd cap with virtually anything i had raised with considering he's Laggy and I have position.
1.b: I'd cap with most antyhing i had raised with. Some exceptions are KT, KJ, QT, JT, QJ

2.a:...

Re: I wanted to raise this river

I'd cap the flop.

then I think your play is fine, provided you raised the river. I'm assuming he would have riased PF if he had a K.

Re: AQ- raised after a c/r

i think you played this right though i would consider folding PF to a riase and cold call, being out of position.

I've seen that action before too where somebody raises the turn and then checks...
