Re: My first PL O8 hand post
[ QUOTE ]
Yeah, but typing in a number is so arduous. I'd prefer just slide the lever all the way to the right.

Re: Lots of action, nut low only
[ QUOTE ]
I find the replies here more hilarious then the poster. Why do people feel the need to help out fish who obviously know nothing about the game and are unwilling to be helped?

Re: Lots of action, nut low only
[ QUOTE ]
There's enough negativity and pessimism on this forum to make the H-bomb look friendly. Might just be me, but that's generally a sign of insecurity, immaturity, personal failure, or maybe...

Re: General PL08 tourny question....
I know I'll get a lot of heat, but almost any hand is good enough to call a min-raise HU, especially if your opponent raises nearly every hand. You don't want to be calling with 5559, but almost...

Re: Seperate PLO8 and Limit O/8 Forums?
You are so right.
In PLO cash tables and PLO/8 cash tables, there are competely different objectives being persued, except to win the maximum pot possible, which is a given.
The PLO fellow...

Re: Three Card Wheel Theory
There are three wheel card hands that simply must be played, even if you have to call capped bets cold before the flop. Such a hand would be A23x, A24x, or A25x. The value of x doesn’t really matter....

Re: PLO8 Bet the river to fold out a low?
You didn't say it, but your opponent is very, very bad, which I base on a previous hand you submitted.
Against such people there is only one way: bet, except when you are weak and possibly even in...

Re: Should I Be Betting Nut Low Draws For Value???
You are always right to bet if you get more callers than the number of callers you would need to make the bet break-even for your draw. It's like free money when you get more callers than you need.

How do you play big pairs?
I can play aces okay. My problem is the other big pairs: KK, QQ, and JJ. I have no clue how to play them, unless they are part of a broadway or suited.
I ran a summary of my last session in PTO...

Re: Found A Point System For Omaha Hi/Lo
This is off-topic, but you or somebody else might help. I don't play the Party skins because DLHelper gets installed. Briefly, DLHelper is spyware, but theoretically the good kind.

Re: Pure Theory Question
If you look down at KK, there is really only one hand you don't want to see, and you will crack it anyway about 17% of the time. So, you would be willing to pay (6/1326)*.83*$1000=$3.76 to see his...

Re: Very Loose No-Limit Hi-Lo Home Game
In addition to what Buzz said, I would want to know how often you raise on a draw. If you're passive, I assume never. This is wrong.
In a loose O/8 game, you will pick up lots of hangers-on until...

I am very leery of DLHelper.exe, which is the spyware PP installs.
I applaud PP's efforts, but just see a buggy app that can cost me money -- as it apparently did for you -- or an exploitable app...

Re: A little help please
Let's take an example from the HoH book that would directly effect the hand you played. You flop top pair in an unraised pot. If you read the HoH book, you would know that an automatic raising hand...
