Re: Getting milk.

Nice post, Bob T.

I always find it funny how many guys out there at Canterbury are "out getting milk" or "at the mall." Too funny.

Re: John Kerry have any chance at all at Presidency?

Thinking about this more and more, I think Bush wins. Look at the mid term elections. The entire country is trending Republican. Heck, Minnesota (my home state) has voted for the Democratic...

I am not willing to bet, but I think Bush wins this election narrowly, again.

Yeah, that was me. One of those hands in the BB you can't get away from. I didn't think he'd have trips but was trying to protect. I should have guessed a PP though because who limps on...

Re: lines at Canterbury Park

Saturday and Friday night is always packed. Waits are usually an hour or so.

I never play in the tournaments since I tried the shootout and decided that $12 (or however much it is to enter) is...

Re: B&M play tracking, hand reviews ?

You know, I never thought to bring a notebook to the casino before. I wonder if people will mock me if I start taking notes on my PDA.

Re: How much to tip?

I reward good behavior. If I am holding pocket 8's and one hits the flop and I take down the pot, I will tip generously. Big pots = Big tips. Small pots = small tip.

Re: Weakish Play?

Bet the turn for information. If a straight is out there, you will get raised more often than not.

Grannie Mae turns it around for me.

Okay, this is not the greatest of great Grannie Mae stories, but it was the first time I had ever played the hand. I was getting good cards, but was not hitting anything in 2/4 at Party. Tilt was...

Re: What limit to play live?

Interesting. I play 2/4 live and online. Maybe I should move up, but I think I will wait until the bankroll is a bit healthier.

Re: Yay!..Boo!...yay. Close, but no new car.

The other question I had was that I was playing A J /images/graemlins/spade.gif against two raisers from the blinds. Was it right for me to call all these raises with that hand? I felt at that...

Re: Hand against a complete mainiac.

I left when the table started breaking up around 12. I saw him go down and I was happy. I made a decent chunk off that table before I left. That guy was nuts.

Re: Hand against a complete mainiac.

I think I was at this table last night. At least, the hand looks familiar. Your despcription of the maniac is that guy who was in every pot with any two cards. I think I once saw him call a six...

Re: Best Places to Play for 18 Year Olds....

Re: Slowplayed AA UTG on a tight table, mistake

The only time that I have ever slow played aces is on a Tuesday afternoon at my local card club. If aces get cracked then, you get $75 (2/4 hold'em makes the $75 worth it) and all you have to do is...

Re: Playing junk hands on the Button

1. 1 limper to you, you have 7 /images/graemlins/club.gif 6 /images/graemlins/club.gif.

Call. I like the chances of suited connectors like this if I think I can get away with it for a single bet....
