Not much of a read on BB other then my gut feeling that he's a fish.

Re: Where I flop TPTK & call down like a sissygirl

Often if you are in these situations with this type of player and you want to maximize your win, a river raise is almost always the way to go.
If he is semi-loose/passive, then I would expect him to...

Fold preflop?

This is terrible advice, the only advice you should take on that hand is folding the flop. Don't fold preflop with KTs when table conditions are like that....

Playing 99 hand at 3/6

I sometimes raise with 99 in this spot and in retrospect is what I should've done.

Reads on UTG at that time 21/15/3/279, pretty solid overall and he was at another table of mine.

Re: AK play - discuss

his preflop call is questionable but beyond that you played pretty bad. Big unsuited cards in NL aren't always good

Re: Ever river a flush and just call?

You can raise this pre-flop usually.

[/ QUOTE ]

Not necessarily. At party 2/4, you're going to get people calling with all sorts of cards so there isn't much need to build a big pot...

Re: Heads-Up Frushy Turn

I think this value is only realized if you know you're going to playing against him often enough

I guess thinking in terms of the BB is helpful. If I was in that position, I honestly don't think a bluff would work in this spot. Judging from your play I would expect you to call down my river bet.

Re: How playable is 5/10 full?

Same here, 2/4 to 5/10. Not too much of a difference monetary wise as my bankroll can handle it.
Like you said, nearing almost 1k hands myself and if you ever try to limp, you get isolated.
I'm up...

Re: Heads-Up Frushy Turn

Normally, I would bet here as I think he's not going to bet anything you can beat but may call with more.
Since you mentioned he was tricky, would you call if he raised on the river?

Re: How playable is 5/10 full?

I guess I'll add to this post. I've recently been playing 5/10 full on party and so far, my experience with it is that there aren't many good tables. I don't know but people just seem to be really...

Raising this flop is awful. You have no pair, no draw in a multiway pot. And most of the time, when the PFR from UTG checks this flop it's cause he has QQ. I think folding pre flop is...

Pokerstars 2/4 hand - River play

Villain seems tight-aggressive in the 100 or so hands I played against him. I remember when I took a look at his stats, he had about 45% WTSD and 0 of 8 W$SD

Re: A PokerStars 5/10 SH hand - AKo

I don't understand your play here. You raise the flop presumably to get info but then check the turn and fold the river?
It seems like you were ready to fold just anywhere when faced with a bet.

Re: Movie scene that touched you the most.

I saw as a kid and I remember crying because of the sad ending.
However, upon rewatching it now as a young adult, doesn't move me so much.

I thought the ending of Big Fish was moving.

Re: Top and bottom pair, am I ahead?

AQ very likely.
I think a turn raise would be good to get some more info.
If he calls your raise on the turn, I believe he may check the river if it's a blank.
