Re: Why its important to know when to fold KK preflop....200 NL lowcon

I'd only consider not pushing with KK preflop if I got severely limp-raised.

Why did I just do this?

Is this a simple check and fold after villain flat calls my check-raise? Am I retarded for not putting him on 77 and shutting down? In the 20 minutes I was at the table, he hadn't played a hand. ...

Re: nut flush draw + pair, nasty spot, your move?

Am I the only one who plays this super-aggressive on the flop? I bet out the flop, if BB raises me, it will most likely drive out any hand CO is holding except 88 or T9s, which are really the only...

Re: AK PP100NL, how\'d I do?

From a sensible player, this smells like 99 or AK also. Raise more preflop and raise the turn to find out where you stand. Your call on the turn leaves you guessing the river.

Re: Convert from Limit Questions

Always sit with the most money possible. Play position. Overpairs don't win big pots. Check out my blog (http://zukeman66.blogspot.com/) if you want to see how I've done this summer at Party and...

Am I the only one who doesn\'t multi-table?

I play 9-handed $1/2 NL on Full Tilt for the most part, and I sit at just one table at a time. I find my results to be much better when I sit at one or maybe two tables instead of four, allowing me...

Re: NL50 AJ Hand... Good Fold?

Have to bet the turn here...if you get check-raised, let it go. If he calls then checks the river, decide if you want to value bet or just check behind. If he calls then leads out on the river,...

Best strategy when cards are dead?

My last 3 sessions on Full Tilt $100 NL have been laughably card-dead. I feel I've cut my losses very well by tightening up. When I say tightening up, I don't mean playing weak-tight, I mean...

Re: Pokertracker

Thanks guys...I think I will try the free trial, and see how it goes. Sounds like it's worth it.

Re: Flopped set on connected board.

[ QUOTE ]
PFR MP2 ($48) is 20/5 after 100 hands.

[/ QUOTE ]

Sorry for asking, but what does the "20/5" mean? I see it in almost every post.

Pokertracker

Is Pokertracker compatible with Full Tilt? Full Tilt just recently added a hand history feature that stores them on your hard drive. Also, is Pokertracker worth it? How well does it analyze the...

Re: AA facing over bet.

I had this happen to me yesterday except the villian, similar player, acted first and pushed. I would say he has AK or two clubs here, and it is probably safe to call. It's safe to rule out KK...

I hate this spot

$50 NL 10-handed on Party. LAG player 2 spots behind me has twice raised the blinds to $4 (8xBB). The 3rd time he did I picked up AA and re-raised, he folded. A few hands later I limp with TT and...

Re: I\'m done with 4-Tabling

I also get crushed when I 4-table. I'm much more successful 2-tabling 9- or 10-handed. It's difficult for me to concentrate throughout the course of the hand when you're in 4 games at once. And I...

Re: Value betting on the river in NL

[ QUOTE ]
Betting through and checking on the river is putting your opponent in a great spot to bluff for a large pot.

Value betting on the river in NL

A situation I often find myself in is when someone has been check-calling me during the hand down to the river and I'm holding an overpair or top pair and I'm sometimes afraid of value betting with...

Re: 2/4 AA

Ha, well I just like an aggressive play here when you're holding the A /images/graemlins/spade.gif. The worst dog you can be is 2 to 1.

Well, I didn't mean necessarily push your whole stack, but I would push a good bit. Unless you want to try the 'ol "push your whole stack quickly to make it look reckless" move, which I like to do...

Early position raises to $3.50, I call on button w/5 /images/graemlins/heart.gif5 /images/graemlins/club.gif. I don't have any information on the raiser. Flop...
