Check/call check/call seems weak to me, I'm assuming that's what your line would've been had seat 8 kept betting. If you're thinking they are on draws, then why would you want to give them a free...

Definitely 3-bet.
You said he was loose, so there is the possibility of a straight. He could've been slowplaying a lower set, or even 2pair. Maybe he just has an ace, or maybe nothing at all. ...

First of all you definitely bet the turn, and fold to a raise. If he calls the turn bet and checks the river, you could either check behind him or value bet, depending on if he's the type of player...
