I am likely folding the turn given your read on the button.

Is this still a fold with no reads on the button, or is calling okay?

I think I fold the turn too. But what the hell would he be calling with on the flop and then raising the turn, considering the horrible odds he was getting? J /images/graemlins/spade.gif10...

Re: Argh, flop nuts question (low content)

i'd DEFINATELY cap the flop, cap the turn, probably slow down a bit on the river if there's continued aggression.

AJ hits 2nd pair, should I have bet the river?

Very loose-passive table.

UTG: 60/0 in 30 hands, passive and stupid
UTG+1: 44.83/0 in 29 hands, passive calling station
No reads on MP2 poster
CO: 66.67/0 in 22 hands no postflop reads

I think it's a good raise. Standard free card play.

Re: Two pair and my table has officially gone insane

Wow. Tough fold. I don't know if I would fold a 35BB pot for two bets in that spot, even if I did beleive the river would also be capped. I'd definately expect a set, but that action is possible...

AQs overcards in a decent size pot

Button is an extremely loose (VP$IP 93) buddy. She bets any peice of the flop, including draws good and bad, but will call down to the river with anything.

Re: Evaluating outs at a passive Table

I evaluate outs pretty simply - instead of having your two 6s and three As as 5 clean outs, I'd bump it down to 4. Someone (UTG most likely) could have two pair with one of your 6s, someone could...

Re: How would you play this one?

After its 3-bet, I'm getting 10:1 on my call, and I have to assume that its probably going to be 14:1 with the other players left to act (provided its not capped). A set is 7:1 to hit the...

Re: How would you play this one?

Your hand is rooted in that preflop decision, and I'd probably fold to the two raises, especially if BB is that tight. I don't beleive calling the two raises with 66 is correct even with 4 other...

Re: 99 OE straight draw vs ???

I like the flop bet, betting the turn is a must, and I think 3-betting the river is a must. You only loose to Q9 here, which is unlikely 1) because you have two of those 9s and 2) because he...

Preflop strategy vs. a player with VP$IP 79 PFR 59

That's right, I'm sitting across the table from someone with a PFR of 59%. .5/1 Party, too - not like .05-.10 where this behavior might be. Granted, it's only 22 hands so far, but the known hands...

Re: Good time for a semibluff?

I agree with the other about the preflop raise and the bad flop raise.

On the turn I think a semibluff isn't that great. I'd just check-through and take your free card. The pot is pretty...
