Re: It Happens Everyday
It's unclear who has the best hand on the turn, so a semi-bluff on the turn is a good move. On the river, you won't normally get a call from a weaker hand and a stronger hand won't give up here...

Re: Showing a Lack of Agression?
I haven't seen anyone mention this yet. You should have folded for the first two bets on the flop. Three betting is also ok. Calling, and then folding for two more is not. There is nothing wrong...

Re: 40-80 Commerce hand
[ QUOTE ]
Soft 40-80. Not as crazy as most, but still great with 2 players seeing most flops and no real solid players in the game other than Andy Fox

Re: Thievery
Everyone else has answered and I have no problems with what they've said. But I suggest you put it to pen and paper and make some guesstimates just to see how much you're actually gaining in this...

Re: 40-80 Commerce hand
I think this is bad. If you're thinking of getting away from this hand, you should do it on the flop. If not, you should cap the flop and put on the blinders later. So I think you should cap the...

Re: WarmonkEd\'s PP 2/4 QUIZ (#1)
question 1:
it's standard to 3-bet the flop and bet the turn. If 4-bet on the flop, just call down instead. It's important to follow this line of play in this situation. If you waited until the...

Re: Calling out SoBeDude for cursing out fish
I've been waiting for someone to notice. I used to play against SoBeDude on Paradise. He's not as good as he thinks he is. And he'd pick a "bad" day and make a lot of inappropriate comments. I...

Re: Rant: Volume 1 - \'lol\'
Am I part of this group if I go "LOLLOLOLLOLOLLOOOLOLL"? And what if I am laughing out loud while I do this? I do that sometimes!
Lighten up.

Re: Time for a very long break!
Here's a hand I saw you play at 2-4 on Paradise:
You have 9d 9s in SB. LP, CO, Button call, you call, BB checks.
Flop is 7s 5h 3h. Checked to the cutoff who bets. Only BB folds.
Turn is...

Re: broken waiting list at party?
I called their 1-888 number to ask about this, just for fun to see what they would say. They said it would work again normally by tomorrow 6am eastern time when their tournaments are back up and...

Re: Time for a very long break!
Are you sure you are some kind of winning player? It's not enough to know what good cards look like before the flop, you know? I have watched you play for over a year and I figured you for approx....

If you download this garbage...
The winholdem author will have installed a trojan so that he can see your cards on his computer while you play.
So don't be stupid, don't even download this.
To contrast, pokervillain,...

Re: Racking off.
Hi Gildersneeze,
I think that playing the ATo the way you suggest is closer to "playing poker exactly like a book and some odds told you to". I'm thinking of the Brier & Ciaffone book, and that...

Re: Racking off.
Hi Bob T,
The ATo is an easy fold. I don't know what Gildersneeze means by "ABC" poker. To see why you can fold this, imagine what the limpers ahead of you have (the ones who are playing...

Re: Donating or collecting?
Why do you think the button can't have the flush? This is how he would have played AsKs...I'd figure the BB for something like JT here, and can't let go on the river?
And I'd figure the button...

Another T8s hand
Hi,
Here's a 2nd hand where I had T8s and then got confused.
UTG, MP limp. I limp with Th8h and the blinds are in. The flop is Qd8c7h. SB bets and everyone calls up to me.
So what would...

Multiple posters
Hi,
Game is rocking. There's a poster in the cutoff (both blinds) and a poster entering the game in CO-1.
I have Ts8s utg and call. Two more callers to the posters who both check. Button...
