Re: Nut straight, paired board, on the bubble

I am guessing not, but if getting his buy in back is more important than winning then I guess it is something to consider.

Re: Been Caught Stealing......
Don't try punishing the limpers so often. It's ok to do now and then but not all the time.
Even though I don't limp very often, if I see someone making this play a lot, I will limp in with a...

Re: Painful whine needs to get head straight.
Sounds like your problem might be aquiring a sizeable stack. This might be because you are too predicatable. Try mixing it up a little bit now and then. Early on in a tournament try limping with...

Re: 88 hand debatable?
No need to go to battle here.
Wait and pick up the blinds from the less aggressive players. Or make a stand with better cards than 88.

Re: What to do, what to do....
Have you seen the chip leader make min raises before? WHat type of hands was he coming in with? I think at best you are a coin flip here, and you don't want a call from the chip leader so I think a...

I call his bet. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the worst thing you could be against would be trip kings. His PF action doesn't match someone with pocket cowboys (or queens, for that matter),...

Re: 2005 WPT Torrents
We usually get it a full season behind so I wouldn't count on CityTV airing the latest ones.

Re: Empire $200k, on the bubble, play or not?
It's not about having a hand. It's about having position. If it were folded to you in late position try stealing with any 2. You can't wait for a hand or the Blinds will eat away at your stack.

Re: Final Table Conundrum
But your main reason to play 44 in a multiway pot is for set value. Something you won't get if there aren't deep stacks.
