Re: 88 in the SB
I guess I was more worried about the flop decision with my above post. He'd be calling with the flush draw anyway, but I was trying to say that it could be possible a hand like 67s, K8s, etc could...

Re: 88 in the SB
I did see coldcalls with T8s at this table (although not specifically from MP3), so I can't just put him on two overcards with a flush draw.
Seems right. Thanks toss.

Re: 88 in the SB
I agree that's a much better line. Everyone else at the table seemed fairly terrible, so MP3 could've had a wide range of hands.
If Villan raises a flop bet and MP3 calls, what does that limit...

88 in the SB
No stats on villan, but he played loose-aggressive up to this point(especially postflop).

It's 7 handed on the flop. What do you consider a mini pot?

Re: Straddling is money
6/12 at the Mirage two weeks ago.
The orbit before, it's folded around to the SB who has chopped before. I'm in the BB and when I see it's folded around, I ask if he wants to chop. Already...

Stop and Go\'ed
UTG+1 seems like a decent player (a tad bit loose and a semi aggressive), but he's been running cold so far and I haven't seen many of his showdowns.
CO is an unknown.

88 in MP: questionable preflop and flop
The table has been loose passive to this point.
I only have about 40 hands against SB at this point, so his stats don't mean much. His PFR is 5.25%, FWIW. He's been really loose out of the small...

Re: The fish were biting
That kind of table makes me wish I played NL more. I was watching a 2-5 NL table while waiting for 6-12.... the table was half filled with really bad players. If you have the extra bankroll, play...

Re: KK - Borgata 3/6
Being as I play at the Borgata and know the exact type of player this sounds like, this is an easier fold than you think it is. The chances that he'd show you AQ are much less than AA or QQ.
I...

Re: Borgata 6-12 snowmen
It's not too harsh. I know I didn't like doing it, but it felt right at the time. In hindsight, I probably should have just called his river bet if he was going to bet into that board. And if I...

Re: Borgata 6-12 snowmen
Come to think of it, I didn't think he'd make the play with A8s without the hearts or diamonds. I really thought the only thing I could beat was A7. Even with as aggro as he seemed preflop, I...

Re: Borgata 6-12 snowmen
Yes, I do think he'd 3-bet A8s (and maybe even on the river if his suits weren't hearts). If I would have bet into him on the river, I would have called a raise. As it turns out, at the time, I...

Re: Borgata 6-12 snowmen
I thought about folding the flop, but figured it was one of those call and fold the turn unimproved or if an overcard hit hands. I improved on the turn, so I went from there.

Borgata 6-12 snowmen
The button is very aggressive preflop. He'll 3-bet Axo from LP. He's a little less aggressive postflop, but it's been a passive table and he only sat down about an hour ago at most, so I don't have...

Re: Help a brotha out -- FREE FOOD/$$

Re: First time to Borgata
You'll be much happier with the atmosphere at the Borgata, but you'll still be playing against people calling down with 3's.
