Re: A-high raise on turn at 5/10 vs. a 40/20
In addition to others who have noted that this is spewy, I agree. Let it go for 1.5bb....
And, as a general note, how is raising better then just calling down if you think he is full of crap? Guy...

Re: TT flops set vs. semi-lag blind stealer
A fair point, but which is more likely in this spot considering his lagness: he has a draw AND won't bet, or he's drawing dead and will overplay the river if he catches a bit? If he's drawing dead...

Re: 3/6 6m KTs turn semibluff
So I'll ask, why not CR flop (or lead hoping to get raised)? If you can get it HU with the LAG, great, if not, you almost certainly have higher then 25% PE on the flop...
Turn raise seems very...

Re: QQ blind defense
[ QUOTE ]
I don't know why you would advocate tossing your hand here w/o a strong read. In a typical situation, sure, toss your cards. In a blind steal situation you must be a lot more tenacious in...

Re: Stupid line?
True, I was thinking that C/C flop, and betting from there might get more out of UTG then the CR because even dumbkins who limp UTG can fold weakish hands instead of calling 2 cold...If you are going...

I know for a fact if I had 1010 here I would bet/raise this flop in hopes of taking it down immediately.

Re: TT flops set vs. semi-lag blind stealer
I may have missed a bet, but I feel I have him drawing completly dead a lot. Will he call a bet with Ax or KQ? I probably should have added in the OP that if he was at all observant, he would have...

TT flops set vs. semi-lag blind stealer
Villain is about 52/13/1.5, has shown an ability to overplay hands... on the flop I went for the Bet/3-bet and whiffed, the turn I went for the CR and whiffed, whilst the river was gin...

So much as the true trifecta is 3 str8 CR's without getting 3-bet, the true "the Sexy" is bet, bet, CR?...just like to get my nomenclature straight (against a pfr, shouldn't this line be called the...

Re: -EV with the best hand??
On a betting round after the flop, there is money in the pot. Everyone who still has a chance of winning the hand 'owns' a piece of that money, this is your pot equity. If I have the best hand...

I hate the turn raise, both because you have to call the 3-bet with 11 possible outs, and you could already be drawing dead. Without a better read, I probably call the turn and make a decision on the...

99 - free showdown play
Villain is loosish, not terribly aggressive, but not rockish post flop either. Flop bet meant seemed like not an ace.

Flop is...
