Re: standard WAWB HU situation?
I'm not sure about the rest of the hand, but don't bet the river against a TAG. No read on this guy though, so it seems fine. I don't think you can call a raise.

Re: blind stealing a \'little light\'
Yeah, just call the 3-bet. It usually means he's on a flush draw here, so your straight outs are tainted, and you can't cap for value.
You could check this turn, but I'm 90% sure that betting here...

Re: Top 2 pair against turn cap.
[ QUOTE ]
Folding this short handed is a huge mistake.
There is too much money in the pot, and too little that beats your hand.
Also, how do you NOT 3 bet the turn with this hand SH?

Re: Top 2 pair against turn cap.
I hate the turn 3-bet, but that's not my issue with this hand.
Fold the river. We don't beat a TAG here one in twenty times, considering the action. The only had that he might be playing this...

Re: Who value bets this river?
A lot of LPs will check/call this river with a straight because they're afraid of the flush and they assume that anybody that's going to call will have a straight or better.

Re: A typical blind hand
If villain was 36/6 after 540 hands, I fold preflop. Since your read isn't that accurate, I just call. If he's weak, you could 3-bet here to try to make him lay down his bigger UI ace later on, but...

Re: SB is getting tricky
CRing this flop is standard with a draw. Which would make my river fold make no sense. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

SB is getting tricky
Tricky, TAGish SB open-limps (he does this occasionally, could mean anything), I rap with 2/images/graemlins/club.gif, 7/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
Flop is J/images/graemlins/heart.gif,...

Re: AJ hand outthinking myself?
I would never raise this turn. If you are going to raise in a spot like this, do it on the river. You get the most money out of bluff that will fold to a raise by waiting until the river, and it...

Re: 99 Offsuit
The "offsuit" was a joke guys. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
I should point out that I was planning to check/fold the turn UI if he called.

99 Offsuit
I'm on a massive, massive downswing, so I may be posting more hands than usual.
This situation has been coming up a lot lately, and I think I finally got it right.
Unknown Button open-raises, I...

Re: Some hands from my first go at 6 max

On the third hand, why the 3-bet on the draw? seems to me that after you've bet and got a caller, and another raises, you're better off just calling so you don't scare the other caller...

Re: A7s defense
I fold this preflop. Is the raise standard? 22 PFR isn't exactly astronomical, even though that VPIP is.
