He probably wins more on side games than he does on tournaments.

Thing is DN isprobably making a few millions a year out of poker. Don't think SS2 is too important to him as far as his finance are concerned...

then why did he help write it..and btw, have you read the book, its just commercial exploitation of the poker boom...

[/ QUOTE ]

Answered your own question. Although I would have called it 'promotion' of the poker boom myself.

Daniel has proven with his consistent play to be one of the best Tournament players all around. As for WSOP only kudos has to go to Dan Harrington. making the final two tables last two years is unbelievable.

There are 30-something other events other than the main event. Yes, Harrington's feat in the main event is impressive, but he is far from the 9 bracelets that Doyle, Chan, or Hellmuth have. There are tons of players that have done better more events than Harrington.

Not much of a story. Daniel and Jen Harman are good friends. Danny-boy isn't a big fan of Sklanski.

Not much else to say.

Well, he does recommend his books to those who want to learn the game:

Daniel Negreanu, who at 23 became the youngest world champion. "The key is to learn the fundamentals. Read anything by David Sklansky

It was after reading (and being disappointed by) Hellmuth's book that I read this item and decided I needed to read some two plus two books and try to learn at this forum. Daniel made me a Sklansky follower.
