Default Negreanu\'s players profile

On Harman:
"Best game: Limit Hold'em (her chapter in Super System 2 on limit hold'em is already being considered revolutionary in some circles) "
revolutionary? I am missing something?

Link to DN's player profile, which is otherwise interesting.

daniel is a co-author of SS2, so perhaps you might ponder whether he has a personal financial interest in its success?

not to mention those two are very close, and we all know what he thinks of sklansky's material.

what's funny is that much of her chapter reads like a cliff's notes version of HEFAP.

I read that chapter. yeah, it was ok, and pretty resonant with where I'm currently at in my game development, but I could hardly claim to have read anything in that chapter that I hadn't already read in HEFAP.

Maybe it's revolutionary in the sense that it managed to get Daniel to read and acknowledge basic Sklansky theory.

Thing is DN isprobably making a few millions a year out of poker. Don't think SS2 is too important to him as far as his finance are concerned...

then why did he help write it..and btw, have you read the book, its just commercial exploitation of the poker boom, its very superficial... IMO you have got to be overestimating this guys earn..go see what Barry g thinks of his game v. the best players at the biggest stakes..not just his torunament successes

Are you kidding? Negreanu made several million last year in televised events alone. Overestimating his earn?

yup, he had a phenomenal year and won like 4 million, do you think he had any expenditures, do you think he won every tournament he entered, and further, do you think that year was typical?

If by "expenditures" you mean tourney buy-ins, or table losses, then I see your point. Otherwise, I don't think people consider lifestyle choice expenditures in the term "earn".
