Re: NBA 1/25
Watching this one on TV...
MEM is trying to run ORL out of the gym a bit because ORL played yesterday at HOU. That Fratello guy is one smart cookie. ORL looks terrible. 25-15 at end of 1st Q. Was 25-12. MEM isn't even playing that great...shot 48%...and could have built their lead to way more than 10 with a few more shots. But it looks like they have something of a jack-rabbit...lets-really-run type of game-plan without Gasol against a tired team. If they keep this up though I wonder how that will affect them for their game at CLE tomorrow. |

Re: NBA 1/25
I like the other side of this one tonight. Lakers without Kobe are just a mediocre team and although they have played well without him I feel tonight is the night they get blown out. Good luck on all your wagers.

Re: NBA 1/25
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] Lakers have failed to win 3 in a row 6xs or so this season. Focused on getting it done. [/ QUOTE ] this is a non-factor imo...i suspect the players might not even be aware of this...and if they were I just don't see it as giving them some sort of advantage. [/ QUOTE ] Being from LA, anyone who reads the sports page will know this fact. The LA Times and the local broadcasts mention this constantly. I'm very sure each and every player knows. |

I hear you ... the difference is here you're laying 6 on the road. [/ QUOTE ] ATS records of NBA road favorites laying 4-7 points: Season W-L-P % 1997-1998 75-57-6 56.8% 1998-1999 41-45-1 47.7% 1999-2000 68-52-2 56.7% 2000-2001 67-62-4 51.9% 2001-2002 68-62-6 52.3% 2002-2003 66-75-2 46.8% 2003-2004 70-53-0 56.9% 2004-2005 (to date) 33-27-0 55.0% Total 488-433-21 53.0% You could have beaten the vig over the last 7+ years with no handicapping at all, simply by betting every road favorite in the 4-7 point range. |

Re: NBA 1/25
I'm new to sports betting and have absolutely nothing to contribute here, and I don't even like pro hoops that much. I made a Pinnacle acct purely to bet on my patsies this postseason since my dad's booky obviously wasn't paying +105 or whatever it was last week
ANYHOW, I'd like to make it known that I tried to bet the Bulls again today at -4 because they won for me yesterday, but as I was going through the menus the spread changed to -4.5 and for whatever reason I decided not to go for it. Moral of the story, I am god, bow to me and heed what I say as if it were written in stone, even with regards to sports I don't like or follow |
