Re: $22: AQs good enough for an EP raise 6-handed... asks a push-or-fo

I have to agree with Phil on this one. If you limp and lose the hand you are down to about 600 chips or less in 2 hands (even less if the blinds are going up). I would want to take a stand with my...

Re: Is optimal play universal?

I think a lot of the plays we read about here are buy-in level dependent. I have experienced some of the same problems you may be encountering in trying to apply the plays of the best $100 and $200...

Re: Bad Single Tabling OOTM Streak?

My OOTM streaks tend to come in 8s, not sure why.

The worst streak was 56 without a FIRST, lots of 2nd and 3rd. Think I was over 40% ITM during that point and losing money. Anyone else track...

Re: Madness (or Mad Genius) on the Bubble?

Seemed like madness to me, but I am always intrested to hear everyone's thought process.

Is this a situation where the button should be pushing pre-flop with his A-J suited even though the other...

Madness (or Mad Genius) on the Bubble?

I was UTG in this hand, just watching the action and glad I would be making it ITM. When I watched this hand and saw the results I thought both players were crazy and maybe they are. However, I...

Re: $55 early play - post flop question

I am thinking busted flush draw as well, the call-call from villain always screams flush draw to me.

With that said, why not bet a moderate amount (no idea what that would be, will leave that to...

Any thoughts on a CR allin?

Re: Bubble hand

More than anything this is dependent on my read of the villain. If he has pushed 2 or more times in the last 10 hands I am probably calling. If he had been tight I am most likely folding.

But...

However, I play mostly at the party 11s and 22s and I think you will get called 3/4 or more of the time in that situation, whatever hand you have. This is especially true...

Re: Situations that I\'m having problems with

I think this also depends on what buy-ins you are talking about. Much of the advice on here is from more experienced players (than me) at the higher buy-in levels and my impression from most posts...

Re: KK on the Bubble

My thinking here is that the MP (big stack) had Ax. I know that over time pushing with the best hand here is the most profitable play from the chip stand point. However, by pushing I am giving MP 5...

I knew the min. raise with the A-8 was a weak move here. Needed some better players to chastise me.

Is the A-Q hand a clear all in?
