Default Marginal River Bet with 3-suited board

Flop: (6.50 SB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (6 players)

Final Pot: 15.75 BB
Main Pot: 15.75 BB, between BB and Hero. > Pot won by BB (15.75 BB).

Results in white below:
BB shows 9c 9h (three of a kind, nines).
Hero shows 8s 8h (three of a kind, eights).
Outcome: BB wins 15.75 BB.

With all my raising, I couldn't see him checking a big flush on the river. I didn't read him as capping the flop with a weak flush. I concluded then that he didn't have a flush, so I bet.

At least I was right about him not having a flush...

I agree, bet the river and be happy you didn't lose more.

Set over set = ouch.
